About Us

It is one of the first programs designed to support the library financially, thanks to the sale of postcards made by children with the help of volunteer painters. There the idea of opening a small gift shop began. This is how the Tesoros store emerged, which is a space that through art seeks to support the public library to continue its social work.

Its Mission is to promote culture through reading and freedom of artistic expression.

His vision is to involve and unite the talent of local and international people with the desire to join the support of social causes in San Miguel.

We believe that freedom, solidarity and collaboration are values that identify us, because from these starts everything you can find in the treasure store.

We offer a wide variety of products which are characterized by being made with totally artistic elements, to mention some of them:

Local Authors Books: where you can find Fiction and Non-Fiction Books, Memories, Poetry, Travel and books where San Miguel de Allende is the protagonist.

Used books, which have been donated by people, for sale: in these you will find books by various authors in English and Spanish; stories you will love.

Postcards: unique styles, watercolors, 3D designs, among other varieties; to give a written detail to that important person.

Kitchen Items: Made with artisan hands, made of fabric and environmentally friendly items. You can find handles for hot things, tortilleros, dryers, aprons, etc.

Jewelry and Costume Jewelry: You will find interesting items such as earrings, rings, bracelets and necklaces made in an artisan way with rhinestones, thread, leather and silver.

Art: Discover art prints, paintings, paintings, photographs, prints, among other varieties; from local and foreign artists; which through their work of art transmit the essence of each artist.
