A QUIET LEGEND OF POMEROL.

Small appellation. Remarkable reputation.

Pomerol covers only 813 hectares — about 0.7% of Bordeaux’s vineyard area — yet its w**es are known around the world.

And here’s the curious part: unlike several other famous Bordeaux appellations, Pomerol has never established an official classification of its châteaux.

Here, reputation was built bottle by bottle.

Una pequeña denominación. Una gran reputación.

Pomerol ocupa solamente 813 hectáreas — alrededor del 0.7% del viñedo de Burdeos — y aun así sus vinos son conocidos alrededor del mundo.

Y aquí está el dato curioso: a diferencia de otras famosas denominaciones de Burdeos, Pomerol nunca estableció una clasificación oficial de sus châteaux.
