We are into the heart of winter and lately it’s been really wet, windy and cold. Time to indulge in something that is comforting and heartwarming, and part of our culinary history - mouthwatering pies accompanied by a good pint of Stout 🥧 🍺

Our love affair with pies dates as far back as the 12th century while the first mention of “Stout” is said to have first been recorded in 1677.

From Cornish pasties and pork pies to Steak and Kidney pies, there are many varieties to enjoy these days including the “King of all Pies”- a hearty Beef Shin and Veg Pie - homemade by Norfolk's Pub of the Year 2023, the . Sheer deliciousness!

And while we are spoiled for choice as far as pies go, there are few stouts that taste as good with pies as our award-winning Cream Stout, also available in a Gluten Free variant 💜🖤
