Hla Day Turns 9 Today!
We are proud to celebrate Hla Day's 9th anniversary!

Founded in 2016, Hla Day is a non-profit social enterprise that actively works with over 50 artisan groups from disadvantaged backgrounds across Myanmar.
Over the years, we have provided one-on-one design and business training to each artisan's skills and potential. Today, we offer over a thousand high-quality handicrafts, each with a contemporary twist.
Through this work, we have created a sustainable marketplace that supports regular income and long-term growth for the artisan groups we collaborate with.

လှတယ်ဆိုင်ဖွင့်လှစ်တာ ဒီနေ့မှာ ၉နှစ်ပြည့်ပြီဖြစ်ပါတယ်ရှင်။

လှတယ်ဆိုင်ကို အကျိုးအမြတ်မယူသည့် လူမှုစီးပွားရေးလုပ်ငန်းတစ်ခုအဖြစ် ၂၀၁၆ မှာစတင်တည်ထောင်ခဲ့ပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတစ်ဝှမ်းလုံးမှာရှိသည့် disadvantaged background ရှိသည့် လက်မှုပညာရှင်အဖွဲ့ပေါင်း ၅၀ကျော်ဖြင့် လက်တွဲလုပ်ကိုင်လျက်ရှိပါသည်ရှင်။

လှတယ်မှ လက်တွဲလုပ်ကိုင်နေတဲ့ လက်မှုပညာရှင်တွေကို လုပ်ငန်းပိုင်း နဲ့ ဒီဇိုင်းပိုင်းဆိုင်ရာ training တွေကို ၎င်းတို့လုပ်နိုင်တဲ့ စွမ်းရည်အပေါ်မူတည်ပြီး တစ်ဦးတစ်ယောက်ချင်းစီအတွက် လုပ်ဆောင်ပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။လှတယ်ဆိုင်တွင် အရည်အသွေးကောင်းသည့် မြန်မာလက်မှုပစ္စည်းအမျိုးပေါင်း တစ်ထောင်ကျော်ကို ခေတ်ပေါ်အမြင်နှင့်ကိုက်ညီအောင် တီထွင်ဖန်တီးပြီး ရောင်းချပေးနေပါတယ်ရှင်။
ထိုသို့ရောင်းချခြင်းမှ လက်တွဲလုပ်ကိုင်နေသည့် လက်မှုပညာရှင်တွေအတွက် ပုံမှန်ဝင်ငွေရရှိနိုင်ပြီး ရေရှည်ရပ်တည်နိုင်ရေးအတွက် ရေရှည်တည်တံ့သည့် ဈေးကွက်တစ်ခုကို ဖန်တီးလုပ်ကိုင်ပေးလျက်ရှိပါသည်ရှင်။

In celebration of World Oceans Day 2025, Goethe-Institut Myanmar and the Myanmar Ocean Project are proud to present an inspiring exhibition titled: “Our Ocean, Our Life – The Exhibition of Stories from Myanmar’s Coast.” This exhibition showcases the creative expressions of young people aged 13 to 20 from across Myanmar. Through a wide range of visual artworks, poems, and essays, these youths have shared heartfelt stories, challenges, and dreams from the lives of coastal communities, blending personal experience with artistic vision. We warmly invite you to join us in honoring our oceans and the voices of a new generation. In addition to the exhibition, there will be a special Ocean Talk led by Thanda Ko Gyi from the Myanmar Ocean Project, alongside featured artists Thee Oo Thazin and Nay Myo Set Lu. It has been two months since the devastating Mandalay-Sagaing earthquake.

Today, we want to express our heartfelt appreciation to our Hla Day friends, customers, donors, artisans, and staff—each and every one of you who made it possible for us to donate over 10 million Myanmar Kyat to support relief efforts and the rehabilitation and reconstruction of affected communities.
