DOGFISH HEAD x OXBOW x SHIGA KOGEN / Kind of Gold！

アメリカンクラフトビール界のレジェンド、DOGFISH HEAD の Sam Calagione と、彼を繋いでくれたお馴染み OXBOW の Tim と3者で今年の初めに仕込んだ特別なビール。

3社のロゴが並んだゴールドのラベルもお気に入りです。

Sam が送ってくれた “Carolina Gold” という米と、”Edisto Gold Honey” という野生の花のはちみつをつかって仕込んだ IPA。

DOGFISH HEAD x OXBOW x SHIGA KOGEN / Kind of Gold!

This special beer was brewed at the beginning of this year by Sam Calagione of DOGFISH HEAD, a legend in the American craft beer world, and Tim of OXBOW, who connected us.

This IPA was brewed using “Carolina Gold” rice and “Edisto Gold Honey,” a wild flower honey

New Limited Arrival! Shiga Kogen Pils!? cask-finished for 89 days French oak wood barrels. Light, dry, crisp, yet smooth with a richness from the oak and the flavor fills out when it slightly warms. Less than 2,000 bottles produced of this barrel-aged pilsner.

This year’s Snow Monkey IPA should arrive Thursday. It’s a 6% Hazy IPA with a citrus flavor reminiscent of pink grapefruit and hints of tropical nuances like passion fruit and white peach.

While it has a the sweetness of a hazy it also features Shiga Kogen’s signature bitter and dry characteristics that Shiga Kogen beer lovers expect
