We are extremely proud to announce that our 2022 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon has been awarded Best in Show at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2025. This is the competition’s highest honour and a globally significant recognition of wine excellence.
Now in its 22nd year, the DWWA is the world’s largest and most influential wine competition, with an unmatched global reputation for its rigorous judging process.
This year’s awards saw wines from 57 countries blind tasted and critiqued by a panel of 248 renowned international wine experts, including 22 Master Sommeliers and 72 Masters of Wine – the most in the show’s history.
Of more than 18,000 wines judged this year, only 50 were awarded Best in Show, representing a mere 0.3% of all entries. Xanadu was one of just five Australian wineries to achieve this honour in this year’s awards, reinforcing both its winemaking pedigree and the remarkable calibre of Australian wine on the world stage.
