造り手はシャンパーニュ発祥の地、と言われるヴァレ・ド・ラ・マルヌに本拠地を置く小規模生産者、フランシス・オルバン。曽祖父がこの地に入植してから４代目、現当主は生粋のシャンパーニュ生まれ、シャンパーニュ育ちです。
 
オルバンはムニエ種のスペシャリスト。シャンパーニュの補助品種として敬遠されがちなムニエですが、近年この品種の持つ味わいの個性とポテンシャルは注目されており、オルバンもこの品種に誇り持って高品質なシャンパーニュを造っています。
 
今回のセットでは、白、ロゼ共にそんなムニエ種を100%使って、飲み応えのあるワインに仕上がっています。それぞれのワイン詳細はこちら▼

熟成によるマロンのようなまったりとした深みに力強さとコクを感じる奥深い味わいです。アプリコットや白桃、クリーム系のニュアンスが特徴です。口当たりは滑らかで、芳醇な風味に長い余韻が続きます。

深みのある赤い色合いが特徴のロゼシャンパーニュ。フランボワーズ、いちごのフレーヴァーがジューシーで、香りも薔薇のように妖艶です。

Francis Orbin is a small producer based in the Vallee de la Marne, the birthplace of Champagne. The current owner is the fourth generation since his great-grandfather settled in the region.
 
In this assortment, both the white and rosé wines are made from 100% Meunier.

It has a deep, rich, powerful taste with a marron-like depth flavor due to its maturity. It is characterized by apricot, white peach and cream nuances. The palate is smooth and mellow with a long finish.
 
Champagne Rose Brut NV Francis Orban ¥10,780(tax included)
The deep red hue is so beautiful and attractive. It has juicy flavors of raspberry and strawberry, and its aroma is as bewitching as a rose.
