"I wish we had better news. This video is not from the Abaco Islands but from Freeport, Gran Bahama. Dorian moved on top of GB and slowed down to a near crawl. Sustained winds of over 160 MPH but yet the storm is only moving at 1MPH. We wish all those in Freeport and Grandbahama the safest of days in this tragedy. Slide right to see the satellite imagery showing how big this storm is. The eye covers the whole island and is moving right down the center of the island. The most powerful part of a hurricane is the eye wall. This means the whole island will get hit 2x by the most powerful force of the hurricane. Abaco was hit hard, Marsh Harbor, Hope Town, Green Turlte Cay and Treasure Cay among those hardest hit. Still no word from Guana Cay. For those that would like to help, has already started putting together a plan for relief and will need as many donations as they can get. They will have their warehouse open today and ready for drop offs. We will let you know soon what they need the most.
