Nel cuore di Lucca, in piazza San Salvatore, sorge un luogo intriso di storia e passione: l'Enoteca Vanni. Emergendo nel fervore degli anni successivi alla guerra, questa perla รจ frutto di mio nonno, che ha avviato questa attivitร che si รจ tramandata per generazioni. Fu poi nel 1965 che mio padre ha deciso di dare forma e anima a un nuovo locale, dedicandolo con amore alla sua compagna di vita, nonche mia madre, la Signora Vanni.
Con quella attuale, siamo 3 le generazioni che si sono susseguite nella cura dell'enoteca. Immerso tra antiche pietre, custodisco una collezione di vini senza pari, un autentico scrigno di tesori enologici. Bottiglie delle piรน rinomate etichette del tempo, come Barolo e Montalcino, riposano con grazia nella cantina che risale al periodo romano, intorno al 200 d.C. La cura che ho per i dettagli va ben oltre: riesco a mantenere tutto lโanno una temperatura costante e un'umiditร ottimale, creando l'ambiente perfetto per la conservazione e preservando intatti i tappi e i sapori nel corso degli anni.

In the heart of Lucca, in Piazza San Salvatore, stands a place steeped in history and passion: Enoteca Vanni. Emerging in the fervor of the years following the war, this gem is the result of my grandfather, who started this business that has been passed down for generations. It was then in 1965 that my father decided to shape and give life to a new venue, dedicating it with love to his life partner, also my mother, Mrs. Vanni.
With the current generation, we are the third generation to succeed in caring for the wine shop. Immersed among ancient stones, I hold a collection of wines like no other, an authentic treasure trove of oenological treasures. Bottles from the most renowned labels of the time, such as Barolo and Montalcino, gracefully rest in the cellar dating back to the Roman period, around 200 AD. The attention to detail goes well beyond: I can maintain a constant temperature and optimal humidity throughout the year, creating the perfect environment for preservation and keeping corks and flavors intact over the years.
