Wine culture thrives on diversity.

For the 2026 Wine Culture Award, we are proud to honour establishments from different parts of South Tyrol that showcase the diversity of our region – through an inspiring selection of Alto Adige wines and outstanding local cuisine.

As Eduard Bernhart, Director of Alto Adige Wines, explains: it’s about celebrating the people and places that make Alto Adige's wine culture truly come alive. 🥂⛰️

What does the Award for Alto Adige Wine Culture mean to those receiving it? 🍷

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of celebrating the 2026 winners — and, most importantly, hearing from them personally.

For Kürbishof in Altrei, Feltuner Hütte on the Rittner Horn, Dario Cappelloni and Gianni Fabrizio, the award represents recognition, appreciation and a connection to the wine culture of Alto Adige.

But rather than telling you what it means to them, we’ll let them speak for themselves. 🎥

Watch the reel to hear their thoughts, their emotions and what this recognition means to them.

Congratulations once again to all our winners! 🥂

Yesterday at our Summer Party, we had the pleasure of celebrating together — and of course, there was an extra special reason to raise a glass. 🥂

We also had the honour of hosting the Award for Alto Adige Wine Culture 2026, celebrating the people and places that contribute to and shape our wine culture.

Congratulations once again to all the winners! 🍷❤️

More about this year’s winners and their stories coming in the next few days.

How do we know when it’s time to harvest? 🍇

Philipp from St. Michael-Eppan shows us how grape samples are graded during harvest — from pressing the grapes to measuring their sugar content.

Because knowing when to harvest starts with knowing what’s happening inside the grape.

From vineyard to winery, every detail matters. 🍷

The Alto Adige wine harvest has officially begun — and now it’s in full swing. 🍇

This is one of the most exciting times of year in the vineyards: grapes are being carefully picked, brought to the wineries, and transformed into the wines that will tell the story of the 2026 vintage.

From the first early-ripening varieties to the later grapes still hanging on the vines, harvest is a moment of movement, precision and anticipation across Alto Adige.

The 2026 vintage is underway. 🍷
And we can’t wait to see what it brings.

What would bring you back to Alto Adige? What would you pair with an Alto Adige wine? And what does everyone need to know about Alto Adige? 🍷⛰️

We put the questions to Georgie Fenn, wine writer and influencer, during her visit to Alto Adige.

Her answers? Skiing in the Dolomites, curry and fish & chips, and a region full of fresh, elegant and lighter-style wines that deserve to be discovered. 🎿🍛🍷

But above all, Georgie’s message is simple: Alto Adige is home to an incredible array of high-quality wines.

Now over to you 👇

AI will steal your job. 👀

But can it replace passion?
Experience?
Intuition?
Human connection?

We don’t think so. 🍇

What makes the wines of Alto Adige so distinctive? And what is it about this region that everyone should experience at least once?

The countdown to harvest doesn’t begin with the first pick. It begins here. 🍇

As the grapes begin to change colour, the vineyards of Alto Adige enter one of the most important phases of the growing season.

Veraison marks the start of ripening, when every vineyard expresses its own pace, shaped by altitude, sunshine, and cool Alpine nights.

The harvest is still ahead—but the story of this vintage is already unfolding.
