The very first buds are starting to swell here in St. Pauls – a sign that the new vintage is coming to life. 🤗 We’re so excited! In the photo, you can see what’s known as a 'woolly bud.' At this phenological stage, the bud is covered with a soft, wool-like cap, giving it a fuzzy texture.
In St. Pauls zeigen sich die ersten Knospen – ein Zeichen dafür, dass die Rebe zu neuem Leben erwacht. 😃 Was für eine Freude! Auf dem Foto sieht man eine Knospe im sogenannten 'Wolle-Stadium': In dieser phänologischen Phase ist sie von einem weichen Besatz umgeben, der sehr an Wolle erinnert.
A San Paolo le primissime gemme si stanno gonfiando – segno che la nuova annata sta prendendo forma. 🤩 Siamo emozionatissimi! Nella foto vedete una cosiddetta 'gemma cotonosa': in questa fase fenologica la gemma è avvolta da una soffice copertura, molto simile al cotone.

Plötzner 2024 in the making. ✨️ This picture was taken a few months ago, as the newest vintage of our historic Pinot Bianco label was completing its journey in a large oak cask. Now bottled, we can’t wait to present it at Vinitaly, very soon!
Plötzner 2024 – nimmt Gestalt an! 🤗 Dieses Bild wurde vor einigen Monaten aufgenommen, als der neue Jahrgang unseres traditionsreichen Weißburgunders seine Reifezeit im großen Eichenfass vollendete. Nun ist er abgefüllt, und wir können es kaum erwarten, ihn schon bald auf der Vinitaly zu präsentieren!

Our Kalkberg 2022. Have you tried the new vintage of this remarkably deep Pinot Bianco? At the foot of the Gantkofel mountain, the powerful vines have been digging deep into the soil, drawing nourishment from the mineral-rich limestone of the dolomite rock. The result? A multi-layered Pinot Bianco of exceptional complexity.
Unser Kalkberg 2022. Habt ihr den neuen Jahrgang dieses tiefgründigen Weißburgunders schon verkostet? Am Fuße des Gantkofels graben sich die kraftvollen Rebstöcke tief in die Erde und zehren vom mineralisch-kalkigen Dolomitgestein. Das Ergebnis? Ein facettenreicher Weißburgunder von bemerkenswerter Komplexität.
Il nostro Kalkberg 2022. Avete già assaggiato la nuova annata di questo Pinot Bianco, incredibilmente profondo? Ai piedi del Monte Macaion, le vigorose viti affondano le loro radici nel suolo, traendo nutrimento dalla roccia minerale e calcarea delle Dolomiti. Il risultato? Un Pinot Bianco poliedrico, di eccezionale complessità.

Pruning is completed. Throughout these winter months, our winegrowing families have meticulously cared for the vineyard with dedication and expertise, ensuring its future vitality.
Der Rebschnitt ist nun abgeschlossen. In den Wintermonaten haben unsere Winzerfamilien die Reben mit viel Hingabe und Fachkenntnis gepflegt – somit ist für neue Energie im Weinberg gesorgt.
La potatura è completata. Durante questi mesi invernali, i nostri viticoltori hanno continuato a prendersi cura della vigna con maestria, assicurandone la futura vitalità.

Work, dedication and fun can blend together perfectly. A few weeks ago, some of our sales partners visited us and we had a fantastic time playing curling! 🍾 Of course, our Praeclarus sparkling wines were a must on the ice.
Arbeit, Hingabe und Freude können wunderbar Hand in Hand gehen. Vor einigen Wochen besuchten uns einige unserer Vertriebspartner und wir hatten jede Menge Spaß bei einem Curling-Match. 😃 Und natürlich durften unsere Praeclarus-Sekte auf dem Eis nicht fehlen!
Lavoro, dedizione e piacere vanno di pari passo. Qualche settimana fa, ci hanno fatto visita alcuni dei nostri sales partner e ci siamo divertiti tantissimo durante una partita di curling. 🥂 E, ovviamente, non potevano mancare sul ghiaccio le nostre bollicine metodo classico Praeclarus.
