The Vivekananda International Gold Awards have been instituted by the "Roman Sen Foundation", an Indian Trust established in the cherished memory of Late Roman Sen, who departed from this world at a very young age. The Foundation seeks to transform remembrance into a continuing legacy of purpose by recognising Youth and Individuals whose lives and work have demonstrated exceptional achievement, innovation, courage, service and contribution to humanity.
