The shot was taken unplanned on January 1, 2016. Tajmahal was closed to visitors since it was a Friday. So my friend and I went to Mehtab Bag across the Yamuna instead. It was very cold, and there was dense fog, making visibility poor. It remained like that till at least 10 in the morning. I had lost hope of capturing anything significant, and despite my friend's request to leave, I stuck around. Outside Mehtab Bag, opposite the fenced bank of the Yamuna, Tajmahal started appearing as the fog was becoming thinner. I took the frame focusing on red flowers in the lane and kept one of the most famous iconic symbols of the world as an out-of-focus background. The result was beyond expectations; it got published in National Geographic, and almost every Nat Geo editor showered praise on the image. Now, it's a best-seller from Anirban Mandal Pictures.

The Coffee Board of India opened the Coffeehouse in 1942 Albert Hall. Since then, Amartya Sen, Satyajit Ray, Ritwik Ghatak, Mrinal Sen, and others have frequented it.

Boats gathered to watch the famous hour-long evening Aarti at Dashashwamedh ghat, Varanasi.
The kid was selling mineral water to tourists, and his elder fellow salesman needed a quick supply to cater to a tourist's thirst from one of the boats close to him.
