🥃 New Whiskey 🥃

M**f Whiskey is a 5 part blend of Irish Malt and Grain Whiskey’s, each one bringing an individual element. These combine to give multiple layers of flavour on the nose, middle-palate and end of the tasting experience.

1. Irish triple distilled grain whiskey in a virgin cask will get a very dark colour from the heavy char toasting and give a sweet vanilla note.

2. Irish triple distilled grain whiskey matured in ex- -American bourbon casks, adds a light and sweet note to the mix.

3. Sherry matured triple distilled malt whiskey which gives body to the drink.

4. Double distilled Irish malt whiskey which provides a fruity-ester presence.

5. Peated triple distilled malt whiskey is again matured in ex-American bourbon casks and brings a smoky flavour and long rounded finish.

• Bunratty Mead - This is a medium-sweet mead made from an ancient Irish recipe which includes ingredients of vine fruits, honey and herbs. Mead is the traditional drink of newly-weds and is the where the word ‘honeymoon’ comes from.
Flavour - Slight hint of honey sweetness with some spicy, fruit flavors throughout.

• Bunratty Poteen - A light and fresh tasting potcheen from Bunratty Castle. This potcheen was one of the first to be legally sold and marketed in Ireland.
Flavour Unique distinctive taste that is dry and grainy with a delightfully changing aftertaste that sweetens as it develops.

The Di**le Whiskey Distillery is an independent family-owned business, thanks, in part, to our Founding Fathers programme. When the Di**le Whiskey Distillery was founded, 500 casks were made available to whiskey lovers, investors and connoisseurs. Those who chose to invest in a cask are known as Founding Fathers of the Di**le Whiskey Distillery. Each of these casks is individual, painted with the Founding Father’s name, fill date and cask number. Founding Fathers had the option of maturing their whiskey in whatever wood – port, sherry, madeira or bourbon, that they wished. Now that the spirit has come of age, each investor has the option to either bottle their whiskey, continue to allow it to mature for as long as they wish, or to sell their cask back to the distillery. Each cask will be aged in Di**le as required and bottled only when its owner decides to do so. Come bottling time, whenever that may be, every bottle is numbered and given the name of its owner.
