With a very busy weekend in Courtmacsherry, and very limited parking in the village,we would very much appreciate if people would park in Drakes field at the entrance to the village on the Timoleague side. Parking is free and well signposted.

Be sure to come and see Courtmacsherry's first lifeboat at the St. Patrick's day parades in Clonakilty and Courtmacsherry.

Over the past 5 months, at our station have recreated a full sized replica of the first ever Lifeboat that arrived in Ireland, to Courtmacsherry in 1825.
This 26ft ten oar Rowing Lifeboat “The Plenty” will partake in the St Patricks Day parades in Courtmacsherry. and Clonakilty and will be pulled by a vintage 1961 Fordson Major tractor.

Thanks to the support of the Courtmacsherry Community Shop , Tide Construction and Station members for covering all the costs associated with this recreation.
All part of our stations 200th anniversary celebrations. We have another week of work before we can share a photo or two.
