Ch La Gaffeliere, a Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classes, is making great wine on clay - limestone terroir. The property has earned a great reputation, especially after the 00s. Investment in the vineyard and the opening of the new Cellar in 2013 does lift up the quality largely.

Chateau Coutet, Saint Emilion. For the last 400yrs, it has always been organic farming. The old plot merlot is 100yr old and located at the plateau with Clay and limestone. The wine is called Demoiselles. Lately, biodiversity has eventually come into the human consideration and believe can keep the vineyard health. However, biodyveristy is always there in Coutet, which is considered owns one of the widest biodiversity.

1st GCC to kick of the EP2024 tasting. The first tasting of 2024 en Primeur, right after landing less than a hr. Tasted both Chateau La Mission Haut Brion and Ch Haut Brion at LMHB. Beautiful Chapelle next to Bordeaux City. Immediately showed a good picture about the vintage 2024 on both red and white. Delicacy and freshness are the signatures of this vintage.

Ch Smith Haut Lafitte, great wine and return the best to the environment. More than environmental sustainability but also positive energy with negative CO2 emmission. Hauts de Smith has its own winery, which is very unique for a 2nd wine. Rather than a shadow, it is lively. In order to protect the property, the owner purchased an extra 60hea of forest surrounding the Chateau to separate it from the other.
