Cancelled Flights Due to Typhoon Egay (International Name: Doksuri)

As of July 27, 2023; 5:00 PM

Due to the impact of Typhoon Egay (International Name: Doksuri) on Laoag International Airport, Cebu Pacific has cancelled Flight 5J 404/405 Manila – Laoag – Manila for July 28-29, 2023.

Affected passengers have been informed via email and provided with the following options through the Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website https://www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking:

1. Free Rebooking

Rebook without fare difference for travel up to thirty (30) days from original flight date. The fare difference will apply if the travel period is beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date.

2. Travel Fund

Store the amount in a virtual CEB wallet valid for six (6) months and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (example: baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.)

3. Refund

The process may take up to two (2) months from the date of request.

CEB is also offering flexible options, either free rebooking or Travel Fund, to passengers who wish to postpone their flights scheduled on July 28 to and from Caticlan (Boracay), Cauayan, Coron (Busuanga), Legazpi (Daraga), Masbate, Naga, San Jose, Taipei, Tuguegarao, and Virac.

They may avail themselves of their preferred option online up to two (2) hours before their scheduled time of departure through the Manage Booking portal.

Affected Flights Due to Bad Weather

Cebu Pacific (CEB) advises its passengers that some flights that are scheduled to depart on July 13-14 from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal (NAIA) may be subject to delay or possible cancellation as bad weather persists.

Due to ongoing inclement weather, flooding, and traffic conditions to and from the airport, CEB is extending flexible options such as free rebooking and travel fund to passengers of the following flights:

-All flights from Manila from 5:00 PM of July 13 until 11:59 PM of July 14,
-All flights to and from Tuguegarao, Laoag, and Cauayan on July 14.

They may avail themselves of their preferred option online up to two (2) hours before their scheduled time of departure.

Guests are urged to check real-time flight status updates via https://www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status.

Cotabato flights cancelled due to runway closure

For the safety of our passengers, PAL has cancelled the following domestic flights to and from Cotabato City effective from 22 June 2023, due to the closure of the runway at Cotabato’s Awang Airport for urgent repairs of the asphalt overlay:

Cancelled flights from 22 June 2023 until further notice:

PR 2959/2960 (Daily)
Manila – Cotabato – Manila

PR 2957/2958 (July 11)
Manila – Cotabato – Manila

PR 2223/2234 (Monday & Thursday)
Cebu – Cotabato – Cebu

PR 2487/2488 (Monday & Thursday)
Cotabato – Tawi-Tawi – Cotabato

The closure of the Cotabato runway is in compliance with an official Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) advisory issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).

Replacement flights from 22 to 30 June 2023:

Every day up to 30 June 2023, we will operate the following Manila-Davao-Manila flights in lieu of the cancelled Manila-Cotabato-Manila services:

Passengers booked on the cancelled MNLCBO and CBOMNL flights will be automatically rebooked on the replacement MNLDVO and DVOMNL flights.

Passengers boarding the replacement flight from Davao are requested to be at the Davao International Airport at least three (3) hours before the 1120 AM scheduled departure time.

OPTIONS FOR PASSENGERS OF CANCELLED FLIGHTS:

You have the option to:

• Reroute to another flight with available space within 60 days from the original flight in the same booking class or higher within the same cabin class.

• Convert your ticket to Travel Credits equivalent to the unused base fare of your ticket. Voucher validity is one year (1) from the date of issuance.
