The Whisky Library 十分榮幸首次與法國 Lehmann Glassware 聯乘，為大家帶來威士忌聞香杯品鑑會 – Shape & Sip: The Whisky Glass Influence。

We’re delighted to announce that The Whisky Library is collaborating for the first time with France’s Lehmann Glassware to bring you a whisky tasting event – *Shape & Sip: The Whisky Glass Influence*.

This tasting will be hosted by Corentin Fadier, the Brand Ambassador for Lehmann Glassware, who will guide us through the artistry of glass craftsmanship and the subtle effects different tasting glasses have on whisky flavours.

During the event, we’ll be sampling the limited Inaugural Release from the Strathearn Distillery, a charming micro distillery from the Highland Region in Scotland. You’ll also have the unique opportunity to try out the Samaroli Magnifico Glass, which is currently exclusively available in Hong Kongt, allowing you to experience its exquisite delicacy and elegance firsthand.

蘇格蘭艾雷島新貴 – Ardnahoe

如果你喜愛威士忌又自認無泥煤不歡，卻沒有聽過 Ardnahoe 這個名字的話，那這篇你要仔細看了！

Ardnahoe Distillery 是艾雷島上第十間蒸餾廠（連已停產的 Port Ellen在內），由獨立裝瓶商 Hunter Laing 於2015年開始著手規劃興建，於2018年蒸餾出第一桶威士忌，經過漫長等待，Ardnahoe 的第一款威士忌 – Inaugural Release 於去年終於面世。

酒廠的一對銅製壺式蒸餾器，配備了全蘇格蘭最長的林恩臂（Lyne Arm），長度達7.5米；同時他們亦是艾雷島上唯一使用傳統的蟲桶冷凝器的酒廠，這些配置都會令蒸氣與銅接觸的時間更長，有助於塑造風味複雜、細膩的威士忌。

這款 Inaugural Release 融合了波本桶和雪莉桶陳釀的原酒，增加酒體層次複雜度，讓其獨特的泥煤煙燻香氣中亦帶著雲呢拿、紅蘋果、麥芽糖、礦物、海風等味道。

酒標上大膽地標示只陳釀5年，無懼市場盲追高年份酒的常態，足以顯示 Hunter Laing 對 Ardnahoe Inaugural Release 的質素充滿信心，為其酒廠定下穩健的基礎。

Ardnahoe: A New Jewel of Islay

If you’re a whisky lover who can’t get enough of peatiness, and you haven’t heard of Ardnahoe, then you’ll want to pay close attention!

Ardnahoe Distillery is the tenth distillery on Islay (including the closed Port Ellen), established by independent bottler Hunter Laing, who began its construction in 2015. The first barrel of whisky was distilled in 2018, and after a long wait, Ardnahoe’s inaugural release finally hit the shelves last year.

This Inaugural Release combines whisky matured in both bourbon and sherry casks, adding layers of complexity to its body and infusing its unique peaty smoke with notes of vanilla, red apple, malt, minerals, and sea breeze.

Boldly labelled as being aged for just five years, it defies the market's obsession with older whiskies, demonstrating Hunter Laing’s confidence in the quality of Ardnahoe Inaugural Release and laying a solid foundation for the distillery's future.

超級有驚喜的冧酒，是實實在在的水果炸彈，熱情奔放又不失優雅的蜜桃及荔枝貫穿鼻腔及味蕾；因為它沒有Jamaica冧酒那種如像燒車呔的膠味，就算平常沒有接觸冧酒的朋友亦會愛上它。

Glen Garioch 11 Year / 2012 / 48.5% / Thompson Brothers
相比起無止境地追逐舊年代裝瓶的威士忌，我反而更喜愛發掘有質素又有心把酒做好的新裝瓶。Glen Garioch 不算是大熱的酒廠，但近年接觸到的IB作品都令我留下深刻印象，這瓶有著復古酒標的 Glen Garioch 11y，所有資料數據都看似沒什麼特別，但它的味道卻十分出色，頗為 creamy 的質感配上剛好熟透的紅蘋果，要我每天晚上只喝它也願意。

WhiskyNow! 2025 重點推介

今年的 WhiskyNow! 我們特別為大家帶來數款由 The Auld Alliance 及 Thompson Brothers 的作品。

The Auld Alliance 是位於新加坡的威士忌吧，以其豐富的威士忌收藏而聞名。酒吧的創辦人 Emmanuel Dron 對蘇格蘭和日本威士忌有著深厚的熱愛，並積累了豐富的威士忌製作和歷史知識，藉著The Auld Alliance為威士忌愛好者提供了一個探索烈酒世界的理想空間。

1. Armorik 13 Year / 2009 / 60.6% / Armorik & The Auld Alliance
Armorik 威士忌由位於法國西北部半島 Brittany 的 Warenghem Distillery 生產，創始人希望將當地的釀酒傳統與威士忌的製作技術相結合，致力於創造出能夠代表 Brittany 地區的威士忌。
這瓶由 The Auld Alliance 挑選的單桶 #8241，先在波本桶熟成9年，之後利用 Burgundy 中擁有最多 Grand Cru 的村莊 – Gevrey Chambertin 的紅酒桶再熟成4年，最後成果如何，歡迎大家到時來一試究竟。

2. Armorik 16 Year / 2006 / 60.5% / Armorik & The Auld Alliance
另外這瓶單桶 #8003 只標明使用了貴腐酒 Sauternes 的木桶、12ppm以及陳年了16年仍有60.5%的ABV，實在很難不令人對它的味道十分好奇。

3. Balmenach 32 Year / 1989 / 45.4% / The Auld Alliance
成立於1824年的 Balmenach 是其中一間最早期獲得合法製造威士忌牌照的蒸餾廠。雖其歷史悠久，但由於它主要用於各大調和威士忌，以致其單一麥芽的裝瓶亦相對上罕見。

蘇格蘭獨立裝瓶商 Thompson Brothers 由 Simon & Philip Thompson 兩兄弟在2014年創立，及後二人更透過眾籌成立了 Dornoch Distillery，在他們不停推出的各款單桶 single malt 以及小批量的有趣 blended malt 之中，能讓大家實實在在的感受到兩兄弟對威士忌的熱誠，從而令這年輕的品牌在市場上成為近年的大熱話題。

1. Blended Spirit Drink (Whisky) / 1969+2017 / 40.1% / Thompson Brothers
用上了 Dornoch Distillery Cask #0 於2017年以連續式蒸餾而成的 all malt spirit drink，加上ABV已降至40%以下、在1969年蒸餾的52年老酒，最後加入少許secret Islay的原酒，這麼獨特的 Blended Spirit Drink 你怎能錯過。

2. Speyside 17 Year / 2006 / 54.4% / Thompson Brothers
這瓶乍看之下跟90年代的The Manager's Dram系列十分相似，而裡面的是雪莉桶陳年的 Secret Speyside 17年，有人猜想這是 Glen Elgin，想挑戰自己對Glen Elgin熟悉程度的朋友記得要來試試。

3. Glenburgie 27 Year / 1995 / 52.3% / Thompson Brothers
各位資深IB飲家對 Glenburgie 這名字應該不會陌生，Glenburgie 的 IB 裝瓶的質素都不會令人失望，而這瓶陳年達到27年的單桶又會是如何的表現呢？

還有數天就是 WhiskyNow! 2025 了！

一如過往，我們會帶過百款威士忌到 WhiskyNow! 與大家見面，現在先提前跟大家介紹其中最被受追捧的意大利IB品牌 – Samaroli。

傳奇裝瓶商 Samaroli 於 1968 年由 Silvano Samaroli 成立，因其對威士忌有著獨到的眼光以及見解，慢慢發展成為業界中的先驅：由以原酒強度（Cask Strength）入瓶，再提倡不在酒標上標示年份等等；多年來 Samaroli 曾有無數為人津津樂道的作品，而今年我們參展的highlight bottle有（左至右）：

1. No Age Pure Malt Cuvée 2011
Silvano Samaroli 早於1992年已提倡 No Age Statement 的概念，更身體力行推出No Age系列，這瓶於2011年裝瓶的版本，用上陳年 18 - 40年的原酒調配，而它的味道及表現，就留待大家自己發掘吧。

2. Samaroli Diamond / 2018 / Samaroli 50th Anniversary
為Samaroli 品牌50週年的特別裝瓶，只選用Speyside region的威士忌調配而成。

3. Tomintoul 50 Years Old / 1967 / Samaroli 50th Anniversary
慶祝品牌50週年的特別裝瓶，本為Silvano Samaroli的private stock，可說是他最後的作品，由妻子Maryse代為裝瓶。

4. Samaroli Bunnahabhain 1989 / Hong Kong Exclusive
我們數年前大獲好評的包桶，想感受什麼是集優雅、複雜與力度於一身的話，千萬不要錯過。

5. Samaroli Grande Champagne Cognac (Peacock)
在華麗的酒標之下，是神秘的背景與年份，而我們確實知道的，是其美味的程度，是需要開一瓶與大家分享、想讓大家知道的程度！

Legendary bottler Samaroli was founded in 1968 by Silvano Samaroli, who, with his unique insight and vision for whisky, gradually became a pioneer in the industry: from bottling at cask strength to advocating for the no age statements on labels. Over the years, Samaroli has produced countless celebrated expressions, and this year, our highlight bottles include (left to right):
