Not the b**r I had lined up for but this afternoon has been a bit emosh.

It has rained here, non-stop, for weeks. Like it has “stopped” but for maybe an hour and it surprised even the weather apps.
Today has been dry and this afternoon beautiful. Hot, but that holiday, tropical hot you can deal with.

So I finally got the ferry over to the island of Cheung Chau. It’s about an hour.

This beautiful island has a spectacular craft b**r shop and bar. ISLANDER CHEUNG CHAU 飲島
Not only is the selection of Hong Kong and SE Asian b**rs exemplary, but the commitment to welcoming service and encouraging genuine interaction should be studied and taught across the world. I still cannot believe what a wonderful time I had in my short time here.

So today I am checking in a Hong Kong b**r, Cheung Chau from Yardley Brothers Craft Brewery from my window seat on the ferry back to Hong Kong Island. And I am counting my blessings and enjoying the world and marvelling in the moment.
