Very unique, 5 top Priorat w**es from ALVARO PALACIOS available on www.w**eparadise.com.hk
Born in 1964, Alvaro Palacios spent his childhood in his parents’ bodega, Palacios Remondo, in Rioja Oriental. At a time when Spain had forged a reputation on branded w**es, Alvaro Palacios had set his sights on a more ambitious, pioneering vision to make Great Classic W**es!

His search led him to Priorat, in Catalonia, where Garnacha traditionally reigns supreme. Through his world-class w**e production, notably ‘l’Ermita’, Alvaro Palacios has reinstated the reputation of the wild, isolated region of Priorat into a legend in its own right.

*Priorat DOCa - Gran Vinya Classificada, “L’Ermita” 2017 (James Suckling 98 points / W**e Advocate 98 points)
“This is mesmerizing to smell with a bouquet of flowers that flow out of the glass, combined with black and blue fruit. Full body. Ultra fine tannins. Driven and vivid. It goes on for minutes. A great Spanish w**e. Drink after 2022, but already superb.” – James Suckling

*Priorat DOCa - Vinya Classificada, “La Baixada” 2019 (Peñin 96 points, Decanter 97points, James Suckling 96 points)
“The brightness and beauty to this is so impressive with blackberry, black cherry and crushed slate. Full body and tight, compressed tannins that coat the palate. Very persistent. Drink after 2022.” – James Suckling

Founded in 1973 when Joe Phelps purchased a former cattle ranch near St. Helena in the Napa Valley, the w**ery now controls and farms nearly 375 acres of vines on eight estate vineyards in St. Helena, the Stags Leap District, Oakville, Rutherford, Oak Knoll District, Carneros and South Napa Valley.
Phelps is best known for its flagship Napa Valley blend of red Bordeaux varietals, Insignia, first produced in 1974. Awarded W**e Spectator’s “W**e of the Year” in 2005, Insignia is widely regarded as a qualitative benchmark for California w**emaking.

Do you know Pym-Rae?
In January 2016, the Tesseron family became the owners of Villa Sorriso (Villa of Smiles), the former property of the actor Robin Williams.
The actor christened the vineyard with the middle names of his children “PYM” and “RAE”. Due to this touching story and in respect to the previous owners, the Tesserons have chosen to continue this name for the domain’s w**e.
The vineyard had to be planted with Bordeaux varieties (60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc), the same that the family had experience with at Pontet-Canet.
Pym-Rae got high ratings from International critics: James Suckling 97pts, Robert Parker’s W**e Advocate 98+pts, Jeb Dunnuck 99pts..

---- Limited & high Rated W**es! ---
The w**es of Vérité, French for “truth,” are the result of a combination of old world experience and new world fruit in Sonoma County-USA. The w**e is a distinct blend of varietals harvested from small vineyard blocks, each cuvée culminating in a bespoke union of grape varieties, climate, soil expression and w**emaking technique. Vigneron Pierre Seillan refers to this methodology as droit du sol: “right of the soil.”

KOVAL Gins now on W**e Paradise!

The Dry Gin (47%) is made with a unique variety of woodland spices. Juniper and wildflowers envelop the nose, while the taste is dry, yet vibrant – clean and nuanced by emerald grasses, golden citrus, and white pepper with a round, floral body.

The Barreled Gin (47%) rafted with the same prized recipe as the Dry Gin, but with new levels of citrus, spice and light butterscotch sweetness that come from its maturation in a KOVAL wh***ey barrel.

Certified 100% Organic by Midwestern Organic Services Association (MOSA) & certified 100% Kosher by the Orthodox Union (OU).
