Spellow's mission is to source stock as locally as possible with speciality foods such as local and regional cheeses, homemade ready meals, handcrafted pizzas from The Box Pizza Company and local meats from Hartley's Butchers at Thorlthorpe. Being licenced Spellow's also offers a wide selection of wines supplied by York Wines. A rejuvenation of the classic village shop; Spellow's is at the heart of the community.

We said our goodbyes to .weston_x today, she started as an afterschool girl 4 years ago and has more recently been the Saturday girl at our Whixley shop. It has been an honour to watch you grow and progress, Australia 🇦🇺 are very lucky to be getting you! Thank you ☺️ you are welcome back anytime 🩷

By showcasing the dedication and passion within agriculture helps bridge the gap between farm and fork.

At we are so lucky to have such fabulous local growers and suppliers and are fully aware of the essential work that backs the phrase "every meal starts with a farmer!"

Our own Belted Galloway beef will be available for the weekend, heritage breed, raised on our upland Dales farm, grass fed and matured slowly for tender, full of flavour meat!
