“HODTHORPE STORES NEW OPENING & CLOSING TIMES”…..

As of tomorrow (minus any last second hindrance), Hodthorpe’s local village shop will open some time after 10am due to stock take & transfer to the new owners. As of that opening time it will be under new ownership & management & with it new opening & closing times which are as follows…..

Monday 7am-8pm
Tuesday 7am-8pm
Wednesday 7am-8pm
Thursday 7am-8pm
Friday 7am-8pm
Saturday 7am-8pm
Sunday 8am-6pm

Hodthorpe stores will also be open over the Christmas period & Christmas Day as far as I am aware & also New Year’s Day.

Shares are appreciated, & thank you all in advance who spread the word.

“CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP HAPPENS THIS FRIDAY”…..

This Friday the 5th of December Hodthorpe’s local village stores will change ownership. We will be closed up until around 10:30am while a stock take is done to get a value of the stock, then the shop will open under new management/ownership around 10:30am this Friday until 8pm.

A few points…..

Food is continuing as usual by the same cook. This includes same menu & specials, except Sunday roast which comes to an end.
Extended hours 7 days a week, will share the new opening/closing times on a post which will follow this one.
Deliveries via Mick of hot/cold food/groceries will still be available 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday.
A new member of staff will be cooking every Sunday.
Go local offers which offer a very wide range of offers will continue 365 days a year.
Pay-point will be added to the already existing pay-zone.
Shop will be stocked a lot more compared to its current levels.
Loyalty point cards are continuing so please continue to use your points with the new owners.

Thank you to you all for supporting Hodthorpe’s local village shop over the last 10 years & helping it become what it is today, from all of us at Hodthorpe stores.

“CHRISTMAS DINNER AT HODTHORPE STORES”….

Orders for our final Christmas dinner (Sunday 21st December) is now being taken. No order will most likely will result in no dinner.

Choice of meats are Turkey, Beef, Gammon & Pork, served with pigs in blankets, mash potatoes, roast potatoes, sausage meat stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, Brussels, parsnips, broccoli, cabbage, carrots & meaty gravy.

Adults £11 choice of two meats.
Kids/Oap’s £8 choice of two meats.
Desserts £4.50 each.

Please order a week before the 21st December. The meat/pigs in blanket/yorkshire puddings will be prepped to the orders we have leaving orders on the day very unlikely.
