BFBi (Brewing, Food & Beverage Industry Suppliers' Association) An international trade association representing the entire value chain supplying the food & drink in It’s an organisational competence.

As a not for profit organisation, all income is for the benefit of Members via the improvement of services, provision of information, grants and facilitation/promotion of training (grant funded wherever possible). The Association promotes its Members via the website; social media channels; quarterly newsletter and a variety of professional and social events, both in the UK and overseas. The Assoc

iation uses its group purchasing power to facilitate discounts on exhibitions, market research, insurance etc. The Association is a Department of Trade Trade Challenge Partner for various exhibitions around the world, enabling eligible participating UK companies achieve grant funding. We also partner with other Associations, helping Members benefit from grants at their discounted Member Management fees. The Association’s free of charge Business Advisory Helpline, run by Croners, is particularly useful to small companies who would normally have to pay for advice on VAT, Tax/PAYE, Commercial/Legal matters, Health & Safety. The Association communicates with Members via e-groups, disseminating information, statistics, export leads on a regular, if not daily basis. Do not underestimate the benefits of networking in business. Being proactive about building relationships is often perceived as a personal skill, but it’s far more. A large and diverse network of contacts will increase the sales of your company, whilst saving time and money. Save the date for the BFBi Midland Section Annual Lunch 2026, returning to the Indian Brewery Company’s taproom in Birmingham this November.

Following another successful event in 2025, the Midland Section will once again bring members together for an informal and enjoyable networking event, combining great hospitality, genuine Indian cuisine and fantastic beer in a unique venue.

This relaxed annual lunch is a brilliant opportunity to connect with fellow BFBi members from across the supply chain, strengthen industry relationships and enjoy meaningful conversations in a welcoming setting.

Celebrate the next generation of brewing talent at the Brewing Apprenticeship Graduation Day 2026.
Taking place at The Albert Hall, Nottingham on 22nd October 2026, this annual event brings together successful brewing apprentices, colleagues and industry supporters for a day of celebration, connection and future-focused networking.

BFBi members can support the event through sponsorship, helping to fund the newly created BFBi Membership Brewing Apprentice Events Fund, which will support apprenticeship outings and events that further develop industry knowledge and connections.

Sponsorship is £200 + VAT per member company and includes a tabletop area plus attendance for two company representatives, offering a valuable opportunity to meet graduates at the beginning of their brewing careers.

Join BFBi for the No & Low Production Seminar 2026, bringing together industry professionals for a dedicated look at one of the fastest-growing and most technically challenging areas of the drinks sector.

Taking place at Holywell Park Conference Centre, Loughborough, the event begins with an informal networking dinner on 14th October, followed by a full seminar programme on 15th October focused on production processes in the no and low alcohol sector.

The day will explore key technical topics, industry developments, production challenges and opportunities within the no and low category, with expert-led sessions and valuable networking throughout.

This is a key event for suppliers, brewers, cider makers and sector specialists looking to better understand, support or grow within the no and low market.

The friendly rivalry returns as the BFBi Midland and Northern Sections go head-to-head in the Challenge Cup Golf Day 2026.

Taking place at Walmley Golf Course, Birmingham on 15th July 2026, this industry favourite brings together professionals from across the brewing, food and beverage supply chain for a relaxed day of golf, networking and friendly competition.

Teams of four will represent their company and region as they battle it out for bragging rights and the Challenge Cup trophy, with on-course competitions including nearest the pin and longest drive.

After the final putt, players will come together for dinner, drinks, prize presentations and a chance to continue the conversation off the course.

Team tickets are £300 + VAT, with solo tickets available at £80 + VAT.

Join BFBi and the CIBD Southern Section for an afternoon visit to RAGT’s Ickleton Head Office on 24th June 2026, offering members a valuable look at the science, skill and testing behind crop variety development.

This free member event will give attendees the chance to explore RAGT’s demo field, featuring existing varieties, new varieties in development, cover crop trials and agricultural practice work.

Guests will also tour the breeding station, learning more about the role of the breeder, early-stage quality testing and the innovation that supports future brewing, food and beverage supply chains.
