Following yesterday's post, we are sharing a second video showing the same woman stealing from Wine Well again.

This demonstrates exactly why we are asking for our community’s help. These are not one-off incidents.

Enough is enough. We simply want the stealing to stop!

We are proud to be part of the Wivenhoe community and grateful for the support and kindness we receive from local people every day. Wivenhoe is our home as well as the place where we work, and all of us deserve to live and work in a community where we feel safe and where crime is not simply accepted as part of everyday life.

⚠️ 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗳𝘁 – 𝗪𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆’𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 ⚠️

As staff at Wine Well, we are incredibly disappointed and frustrated to be sharing yet another incident of theft from our shop.

The woman shown in our CCTV footage has been caught on camera and witnessed by staff stealing from Wine Well on multiple occasions. This is not an isolated incident. It is repeated theft, and it needs to stop.

𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. Repeated theft puts our small family business under increasing financial pressure, but the impact goes beyond the cost of the goods taken. It is upsetting and worrying for Sutha, his family and all of us who work here to know that our shop is being repeatedly targeted by crime. We work hard to provide a friendly and useful service to our local community, and it is incredibly unfair that we should have to continually deal with this.

We are asking our local community to please help us bring these repeated thefts to an end. If you know the woman pictured, or can provide her name, address or any other information that could help identify her, please pass this directly to Essex Police.

The vast majority of people who come through our doors are wonderful, honest customers who support us and treat us with kindness and respect. We are extremely grateful for that. But it feels incredibly unfair that a small number of people continue to take advantage of a local family business in this way.

Please share. Even one person recognising her and providing the right information to the police could help us finally put a stop to this.
