Although it was funny to see people’s reactions to our April Fool’s post, we do want to urge everyone to use us when you can and as often as you can. We completely understand that supermarkets are where everyone does their weekly shop, we do too, but we cannot stress enough about shopping local as well. Yes things are a touch higher in price sometimes compared to supermarkets, but shopping local keeps our businesses running and we continue to feel like a big part of the local community. It’s something you can’t quite put your finger on but when people shop with us, it allows us to continue to do what we do, earn a living and be a part of a community. Supermarkets may not necessarily notice when you do your shop there, but we notice when you do shop locally, and especially when you don’t. We don’t want our April Fool’s post to become a serious announcement about selling up in the near future because that’s not the plan. We plan to continue in the best way possible for as long as we can. But we won’t be able to do it without your help and support. We don’t fancy saying goodbye just yet…

They say all good things must come to an end at some point and after consideration and moving forward, we at Bina’s will be moving into the final stages of closing down and moving on. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us throughout our time and we have countless memories which will live on! We have felt it is the right time for this to happen as exciting times come ahead, new opportunities, new countries and new challenges! All the support has a special place in our hearts from our customers and community, and who knows, life is full of twists and turns, and who really knows what’s around the corner! Of course, if you’ve read up until this point, you should know by now we are very much not closing down but rather staying put and here to carry on and be a part of the community! A little advance notice to customers that this weekend coming, on Saturday November 8th 2025 Bina’s will have reduced opening hours and Sunday November 9th 2025 we will be closed completely. We will be back up and running as normal on Monday 10th November where we also celebrate 4 years of trading!

It’s not the way we wanted to start the weekend but we have some bad news to share sadly. As of today, June 7th 2025, we at Bina’s will not be accepting anymore Yodel parcels. This situation has come about due to circumstances that are out of our hands and sadly we have to comply with Yodel and their policies and plans for the future, which we are not a part of. On behalf of the shop we would like to thank everyone for coming here to send off their various parcels and using us repeatedly. We will be working on taking more parcels in the future, and please remember we do still take parcels from DHL and UPS newly as well, however, for now it’s time to say goodbye to our partnership with Yodel. Thank you everyone once again.
