This September, SPAR UK partnered with food redistribution charity FareShare to launch their new Nurture our Neighbourhood campaign, Giving One Million Meals.

This campaign saw SPAR UK pledge a £250,000 donation to FareShare, enabling the charity to provide the equivalent of 1 million meals through the local charities they work with in SPAR communities.*

This donation was presented to FareShare members at their South Midlands regional centre, where SPAR UK's central office joined them on a volunteer day.

SPAR presents MrBeast Feastables campaign winners with grand prizes!

Spinner Winner ran from 17th July until 30th August 2023. It offered shoppers a daily opportunity to spin a wheel so they could be in with a chance to win a prize from the £150,000 prize pool, including a £50,000 car and £10,000 in cash.

Nicola Poland, an NHS 111 telephone operator, collected the keys for her brand new 73-plate Mercedes CLA250e car outside SPAR Ditchfield Road in Widnes in front of members of her family.

Receiving the cheque for £10,000 was Beverley Branch, from Carlisle, who was alongside her delighted son James, age 11, outside SPAR Petteril Bank Road.
