Hello to all of our local knitting and crochet crafters.
Its never too early to talk about Christmas !!

We are inviting people to join a community project to create a ‘Big’ crochet/knitted yarn bombing Christmas decoration.
We will be making 6” (15cm) squares which will be joined together to create a display. The squares can be made in any colours (using any oddments of wool left from previous makes), if the final row of the crocheted squares could be in green yarn – any shade, it would help to create a more uniform pattern. The squares should be made using DK yarn hook size 4mm with 7 rounds to the granny square or any design/pattern.
Or knitting needles size 8 (4mm) using garter stitch [every row knit] either corner to corner or straight side squares plain or striped in cheerful colours.

The size of the finished decoration will depend on how many squares we can collect.
There is wool available if you need any.

PART TIME STAFF WANTED
We are looking for people to join our friendly team at Londis Harbour Stores in Weymouth.
We run a successful store and post office right on the picturesque harbourside in weymouth and are looking for people to join the team.
We are looking for people to work 2/3 shifts per week around 14-21 hours a week with the possability of more shifts for the right candidate.
Will include evenings and weekend work.

We operate a morning and afternoon shift system with the afternoon shift finishing at 8.15pm so no late evenings.

ASSISTANT MANAGER.
We are looking for someone to join our team as an assistant manager.
The role will include 4/5 shifts a week approximately 28/35 hours per week.
Previous experience in the convenience sector preferred.
The role will be to support the manager and to take control when the manager is off.
This will include-
Ordering via our EPOS system.
Stock control.
Banking / Cash management.
Dealing with deliveries.
Opening and closing the store.
The right candidate will need to be a team player capable of working well within a team but also able to take charge and lead when required.
We also have a Post office in store so previous experience would be helpful but not essential as full training would be given.
