This month we will be back at Oscar’s French Bistro in Leamington Spa, tutoring the wines for a fabulous Spring Dinner celebrating the season’s fabulous produce.

The event takes place on Thursday 15th May. The dinner comprises of five fantastic French courses paired with some delicious French wines.

Today is World Sauvignon Blanc Day!

Sauvignon Blanc has to be one of the worlds most ubiquitous grape varieties, grown quite literally all over the world. It comes in a wide range of styles from Sancerre or Pouilly Fume to New Zealand SB with everything in between.

We have recently tried Sauvignon Blancs from both Argentina and Spain, two countries not widely associated with Sauvignon Blanc, but the quality of these two wines really showed us how versatile this grape is.

In honour of Sauvignon Blanc, we have put together a World Sauvignon Blanc Day case.

We are excited to share two new wines from Argentina at our spring tasting on 9th May. Abras Torrontes by is a new premium Torrontes from the high altitude vineyards of Salta. Conejo Verde Malbec is a fruit forward Malbec, an ideal barbecue wine.
