We're probably the only pub in the whole country that wishes for bad weather. When the sun shines, our trade drops off a cliff, over 50%, which, in today's hospitality crisis, sucks!

It's at times like this though, where we have to say a huge thank you to our loyal regulars for making the place so welcoming to others and filling the place with an atmosphere when we'd otherwise be empty.

It's almost too hot to be outside at the moment so do check out our air con, it's something special I must say. And please do continue to support as much as you can. Without a b**r garden we really do feel the effects of being so limited in space.

We’ve got a couple of exciting opportunities to join the team here at The Keep!

We’re currently looking to fill two roles: one bar staff position and one supervisory/managerial role.

For both roles, customer service experience is essential, and for the supervisor position we’re also looking for someone with pub or bar experience.

We do need someone to work throughout the year as we have students back during the holidays. Weekends are also a must!

Most importantly, we’re looking for people who are positive, reliable, and great at making customers feel welcome. If you enjoy working in a lively environment, take pride in great service, and want to be part of a friendly team in a pretty sweet place with a fantastic customer base, we’d love to hear from you.
