Our opening hours for the August bank holiday Monday 25th will be 10.00am until 2.00pm.

Our small but perfectly formed village store is brought to you by a team of friendly, hardworking volunteers. I think you will all agree that it is a huge asset to our beautiful village. We would love to welcome new volunteers to ensure that we can offer the opening hours which benefit our customers. Full training and support is provided and the commitment can be anything from a few 2 hour shifts a week to just one shift a month.
If you talk to any of our volunteers they will tell you that they really enjoy the role and meeting our customers, giving dog treats to our canine customers and even the occasional horse!

Does anyone happen to know of a local registered F-gas engineer who would be willing to semi donate their time and fit an air conditioning/heating unit at Skittles? It’s to help manage the heat in the summer and cold in the winter for our volunteers as well to help keep the stock…we don’t have a big budget to pay the market rate so asking for any help out there…thanks as always, it means a lot x

Run out of milk, eggs, cheese, wine, chocolate or need a last minute greetings card? No need to get in the car, pop into your local village store and not only do you save your petrol you also help put funds into Walgrave projects. We all win, well apart from Tescos, but they can take the hit.
