Urchfont Community Shop

Unfortunately, due to a power outage in the village this Saturday from 9am - 1pm, we've decided to open the shop earlier from 8.30am but we will close at 10.30am.

It's possible that we won't be affected for the whole two hours of course, but if you could come prepared with cash please, that would be really helpful. We will of course have newspapers delivered as normal. Apologies for any inconvenience.

The Post Office will be closed on Saturday.

Ian arrived safely in Cambodia this morning, has picked up his bike and is all set to start on another trek across Cambodia. This time to raising funds for two schools almost 10,000 km apart!

On of our lovely Volunteers, Ian Walker, is busy again but not in shop this time! He's just about to start a 540km cycle ride across Cambodia to raise money; this time for 2 schools. The Treak Community School in Siem Reap and Urchfont Primary School. If you'd like to support Ian you can donate via his Justgiving page

Don't forget - it's our Big Breakfast outside the Community Shop tomorrow from 9.30am....follow the smell of freshly sizzled bacon and sausages and start your weekend off with friends 😊

Please come along to the Coffee Hub (outside the shop) on Saturday October 18th for our autumn big breakfast; choose from a bacon bap or a sausage roll from the sizzling barbecue. And round it off with a fresh coffee, hot chocolate or a nice cup of tea!
