Two exciting new natural wines just in from Pierre Antonin – an excellent producer crafting expressive, low intervention wines in the heart of the Languedoc.

‘Pierre’ Pinot Noir- a fantastic value from the Cité de Carcassonne. With 8 days maceration, it’s bursting with expressive notes of strawberries, red cherry, subtle dried herbs, and violets.

Petit Sauvage Orange– Aromatic and wild, with notes of dried apricots, orange peel, and spice. Textured and slightly grippy from skin contact, it finishes with vibrant acidity and a subtle herbaceous notes.

What a night!

Friday’s Burgundy Tasting Dinner was all about amazing wines, indulgent food, and great company. We explored some gems from across Burgundy beautifully complimented by a thoughtfully curated menu:

Snacks on arrival:
Venison salami, feuille de brick & truffle crème fraîche

Starter:
Confit wild sea trout with horseradish, cucumber & grapefruit

Main:
Confit lamb belly with goat’s curd, slow-roast tomato, greens, sauce & pressed potato

Dessert:
‘Rhubarb & custard’ with a crunchy polenta crumble

Thanks to everyone who joined, to OXTWO for the delicious food, and to Burgundy, for never disappointing!!
