Curtain comes down tomorrow…

We’ll be calling time for the final time at House of Cans this Thursday 5th March, anyone that wants to take one more tin and join us in saying “sayonara”.

We’ve been running stock down this past week and a bit so you’ll need to take us as you find us but we’d be delighted to see whoever can make it.

And even if we no longer have your first choice in stock, Turntable Titan next door will at least be dropping us some tunes to contemplate Cans to.

As some of you are already aware we have taken the unfortunate decision, after seven years, to close House of Cans. Try as we might and in the face of increasingly tough conditions, we just haven’t been able to make the business work for us.

House of Cans Soho will close imminently - this coming Sunday 22nd will be the last day of trade there - after which we will consolidate the balance of stock at Kings Cross and continue to sell through until it’s gone.

With thanks to all of our customers for their support at both locations over the years and to all of our staff for their hard work. Special mention for Mattia for his boundless enthusiasm, for his expert curation, and for creating such a well thought of destination over the short time we’ve been in D’Arblay Street.

Big love to all of our suppliers too, for continuing to raise the craft b**r bar, and real power to all of our contemporaries for keeping on. We wish you all continued success.

NOSTALGIA ALERT!

In this rainy London days, there’s nothing better than having the opportunity to drink once more one of the best b**rs ever been brewed in the City.

, in collab with Sam from , brought back the legendary Double Dark Mild from Boxcar with the name “CUBED”.

Expect big hits of complex malts, plums and raisins, a smooth creamy body, and a touch of roast for balance.

Won’t stick around for long. 🏃🏃
