Looking for a lovely way to spend your Saturday afternoon? We’re running our regular Saturday afternoon w**e tastings at between 1pm-5pm today.

Choose any 3 glasses from our menu and specials board to enjoy with a cheese/charcuterie platter - all for £30 per person.

The bar is open from midday til 10pm so see you there!

The good thing about holding a quiz on consecutive days is that you get to put the same post on socials two days in a row! Except I’ve now written this explanation which means I may as well have put something new up. Hey ho!

Round 2 of Twyford’s premier w**e bar-based quiz takes place this evening from 7.30pm at - all tables are booked so if need a cheeky w**e fix when bear that in mind!

We’re fully booked with teams tonight and given the demand we’re running another quiz tomorrow night - 7.30pm start again!

Our next quiz will be Weds 7 Oct so if you want a place you better let us know fast!

Some absolute quiz prize gold in the Age Concern shop window today! 🥰

On that note - our next quiz takes place on Weds 2 Sept. It booked out so quickly we’ve decided to run another one the following day on Thurs 3 Sept. This is also fully booked!

The quiz’s run between 7.30pm-9.30pm so please bear that in mind if you’re thinking of popping in for an impromptu drink.

The following Wednesday (9 Sept) is our w**e and crisp pairing evening - limited number of tickets are available!

For all you music junkies Vinyl Wednesday will return on Weds 16 Sept from 7pm.

Our next tasting night takes place this Thursday 27 Aug at 7pm!

The Tour of Germany will take in 6 w**es including sparkling, white, red and a dessert w**e! All accompanied by a tasty cheese platter and some quality German music !!!

The sun has gone…that’s it folks. Summer’s over.

But don’t despair - there’s the lovely warm embrace of a glass of great w**e waiting for you at to help you through the slightly overcast and bearable weekend weather.

The dust has settled after last night’s vinyl extravaganza! A diverse platter of LPs were dished up from Catfish and the Bottlemen to Led Zeppelin via a couple of stops through Boston and the 1991 Brit Awards. What a night indeed!

And remember - if you want to be part of it then pop down next Wednesday 26 August at 7pm for our next session of vinyl shenanigans. You can bring your own record or choose from our crrraaazzzzyyy selection.

Away from the records we are actually a w**e shop and bar too and the star of the show last night (and for the remainder of this week) is this gorgeous Gavi from the Piedmont region of north Italy. 🇮🇹

Crisp, dry and refreshing and a steal at £9 a glass! It pairs particularly well with the Flash Gordon soundtrack 😉

Hello everyone and welcome to a new week of w**e and vinyl related fun at . So what do we have in store for you….??

It’s Wednesday, we have records in the shop - that means it’s Vinyl Wednesday! This is the evening where we turn the turntable over to you! Bring your own records or choose one from our collection - the music starts at 7pm so see you there!

We’ll also be running our regular Saturday tasting sessions between 1pm and 5pm this weekend. 3 glasses of w**e of your choice from our menu along with a cheese and charcuterie board - all for £30 per person! What a great way to spend the afternoon complaining about the weather and wishing the sun would come out again…

There are also the last few tickets remaining for our Tour of Germany tasting event on Thursday 27 Aug - if you want to be there then act fast! They’ll be gone faster than you can say Ralf Schumacher.
