The Oliva Black Swan Robusto is a rich, darker-profile Nicaraguan cigar aimed at smokers who enjoy sweetness, spice and plenty of depth.

Vitola: Robusto
Size: approximately 5 × 50
Origin: Nicaragua
Strength: Medium–Full

🌶️ Tasting profile

* Opening: Black pepper, roasted coffee and dark to***co
* Middle: Cocoa, cedar, earth and subtle baking spice
* Final third: Espresso, dark chocolate, leather and a lingering peppery finish

It produces a thick, creamy smoke and has enough strength to make it more suited to an evening smoke than a morning cigar.

Pairing: A rich Speyside wh**ky, bourbon, aged rum or espresso would work brilliantly.

The Tatuaje Havana VI Gorditos is a fantastic choice if you enjoy a medium-bodied Nicaraguan cigar with plenty of flavour without excessive strength. It’s made in Nicaragua using an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler.

Vitola: 5½ × 56 — a substantial Robusto Gordo
Strength: Medium, building towards medium-full
Origin: Nicaragua
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano
Binder/Filler: Nicaraguan

🌶️ Tasting notes

First third: Pepper and cedar arrive first, accompanied by bread, leather and gentle sweetness.

Second third: The pepper settles into the background and caramel, nuts, cedar and creamy to***co become more prominent. Some tasters also pick up cherry and baking spice.

Final third: Things get darker and richer, with black pepper, coffee, earth and leather, while the caramel sweetness continues to linger.

It measures 5½ × 50 and is box-pressed.

* 🇳🇮 Binder: Nicaraguan
* 🇳🇮 Filler: Nicaraguan to***co from Estelí, Jalapa, Condega & Namanji
* Strength: Medium–Full

Tasting notes: Expect a rich but nicely balanced smoke, with cedar, coffee bean, cinnamon, molasses and baking spice.
There are also reports of creamy sweetness, honey, cocoa and nuts developing through the smoke.
