Biffa strikes again. No collection on 14th, no collection yesterday. Bins full to bursting. Apparently it would take them 45 minutes to take an alternative route. I said I could push the bins round the alternative route to them in that time. It's not as if the weak bridge sign was put there this week, so what changed? They manage to get through on Wednesdays to collect my general waste, so what's the problem with the recycling?

Busy busy this week, today we've been to the Rotherham Chamber Mens Business expo at New York Stadium, and tomorrow we're celebrating Rotherham Day. We'll be wearing red in celebration of all things Rotherham, will you?

We have a treat for you on Saturday, Treeton. Back with us by hugely popular demand, we have The Potato Man, serving from 12 noon on the shop forecourt.

Couldn't think of a better day to do it, because guess what? It's our 6th birthday too.

Come and celebrate with us in style, have a delicious hot potato and a slice of birthday cake. Cake is on me, and while stocks last, potatoes you'll have to pay for or Kerry will lynch me!
