Hey everyone,
I wanted to share an update from us, and while there’s a change coming, it’s very much an exciting new beginning, rather than a sad ending.
After a lot of thought, we’ve decided to close Vinebud as a brick-and-mortar shop at the Bell Plantation. Our final trading day will be Sunday 25th January.
Running the shop over the past four years has been an absolute privilege. We’ve loved the conversations, the recommendations, the tastings, the discoveries and, above all, the community that’s grown around the shop. However, like many independent retailers the landscape has shifted significantly in recent years, and this felt like the right moment to focus our energy where we truly thrive.
The good news? Our online presence will continue, as will our much-loved tastings, dinners and events, hosted at some genuinely beautiful new venues. If anything, this change gives us more freedom to do what we love most: bringing people together and telling stories through wine. New dates will be announced very soon, so please keep an eye out.
Even better, our award-winning sister bar, .winebar , remains very much open, and we’ve got some exciting plans lined up for 2026 that we can’t wait to share with you.
Before we leave Bell, we still have some brilliant bottles on the shelves that would love a good home, so if you fancy popping by to say hello (and goodbye to the space), we’d love to see you before the 25th.
Lastly, thank you. For supporting us, championing us, and being part of the Vinebud journey. This next chapter is one we’re very excited about, and we hope you’ll continue it with us.
