We would like to say a huge DIOLCH to A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd for their kind donation of a voucher to spend on treats!

We were able to spend this voucher at SPAR Brackla on chocolate eggs for the trainees to enjoy just in time for Easter 🍫🐰

B-Leaf and Wood-B trainees thoroughly enjoyed a morning out to Maesteg Town Hall on Friday 🎦

After meeting in the café for drinks and snacks, they headed to Y Bocs Oren cinema for a private screening. The trainees thoroughly enjoyed the film and haven't stopped talking about their amazing experience.

Thank you very much to the staff and volunteers at the town hall, who some of the trainees will soon be shadowing before joining the team!

🐦 Build a Birdbox Workshop
📆 Wednesday 26th & Thursday 27th February
⏰ 10am - 11am & 2pm - 3pm

Build your own bird box with the help of the Ranger team.

A bird box is a fantastic way to attract birds to your garden, giving them a helping hand by providing them with somewhere to nest, and giving you a special view into the lives of our feathered friends.

Build a Bug Hotel with the Ranger team 🐞🐛🕷️

📆 Saturday 29th March
⏰ 10.30am to 12pm

A bug hotel is a fantastic way to attract all kinds of insects and arachnids to your garden, giving them a helping hand by providing them with somewhere to rest and shelter, and giving you a special view into the lives of our bug buddies!

Workshop will include a guided nature walk around the park where you can collect all kinds of materials to fill your very own bug hotel. Please bring a bag to collect your foraged material.

We are blown away by the support we've had during the first week of Christmas tree sales!

We only have 37 trees left until we are sold out, so would recommend buying soon to avoid disappointment 🎄

We have lovely handcrafted Christmas items made by Wood-B and poinsettia on sale too.

Directions: to get to B-Leaf follow the road into Bryngarw Country Park, past the visitor centre and towards Bryngarw House, signage on the left-hand side will guide you into the car park.

B-Leaf is managed by Awen Cultural Trust, a registered charity, all profits from these sales are reinvested into our projects supporting adults with learning disabilities.
