Shop Assistant –Chiddingstone Causeway Village Shop
We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and honest Shop Assistant to join our team in our busy village shop.
Working Hours
Monday to Saturday
Start time: 7:00am
Hours to be discussed
Key Responsibilities
Serving customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
Operating the till and handling cash/card payments accurately
Replenishing shelves and keeping stock tidy
Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-presented shop
Receiving and checking deliveries
Opening the shop each morning
Providing excellent customer service and helping customers with their enquiries
What We’re Looking For
Friendly and approachable
Honest and trustworthy
Reliable and punctual
Able to work independently and as part of a small team
Good communication skills
Previous retail experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training can be provided
