Every distillery only gets one first release. We’ve gathered five of them: an early Tomintoul bottling from our own village, Ardnamurchan’s first five releases, Raasay’s R‑01 and R‑02, the Lindores Abbey Commemorative First Release and Aberargie’s Inaugural. Each comes from a private collection, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Our new W**e Cask Edit brings together six single malts, each finished in a cask that once held w**e.
Sweet dessert w**es bring honey, apricot and candied fruit. Red w**es bring dark berries, spice and a gentle grip of tannin. We've picked three of each:

🔹 Aberargie Expressions Series — Laureate & Golden Promise
The first two releases in Aberargie's new single-barley series, both grown, distilled, matured and bottled entirely on the distillery's own 300-acre farm. Same farm, two barley varieties, two very different sides of the same wh**ky. 48.2%, non-chill filtered, natural colour.
🔹 Glen Spey 2016 "Wasted Degrees", 10 Year Old (Carn Mor Strictly Limited)
A collaboration with Wasted Degrees Brewery — matured in bourbon, then finished in an Ancient Amber Imperial Rye B**r cask. Think stoned fruits, gentle spice and orange marmalade. Just 456 bottles. Available online and in-store now.
