From Monday 11th December

Tarnway Stores

will be under new ownership.

Graeme and Nicola would like to say thank you to all our customers who have supported us for the last 18 years. It has been a pleasure to serve our local community.

We would like to welcome the new owners and family
and hope they have as many happy years here as we have.

We wish all our customers a very merry christmas and a happy and healthy new year.

If you have a newspaper account with us deliveries will continue as normal with the new owners.

We would be grateful if all outstanding newspaper accounts are brought up to date before the changeover

We have a current Monday - Friday Newspaper round available. Stannah Road area.
We also have a Saturday round available. Tarn Road area.

I know its a complete long shot but I lost my engagement ring yesterday morning. I delivered newspapers down station road and Milfield area, but I also made up the papers for all the paper deliverers so I guess it's possible it could have fallen in one of their bags and could therefore be anywhere :( please can I ask you all keep your eyes peeled for me, I'd really really appreciate it.

We have vacancies for reliable morning newspaper deliverers. Monday - Friday. Hillylaid road and Lawsons road area available.

On Monday 19th September we will be open at 7am. This will allow us to ensure newspapers are delivered to our home delivery customers and give everyone else time to collect what they need before we close at 10:30am as a mark of respect and to allow us to join the nation and pay tribute to

Tarnway stores with help from wyre and fylde community defibrillators funding are trying to raise funds to locate a public access defibrillator on the external wall.of the shop.
Hopefully nobody will ever need to use this piece of lifesaving equipment but it will be there in case of emergency.
If anyone wishes to donate there is a collection box on the counter inside the shop.
