We are feeling rather disappointed and sad it has had to come to this, but from today only one secondary school age child will be allowed in the shop at a time, anytime of day (unless with parent/guardian). Shop lifting is an ongoing problem we are having to deal with, and it isn't just the school children, adults are doing it too! For the sake of staff being able to be vigilant and serve other customers it's a step we've decided now has to be made. We have cameras that do have the footage of the final straw occuring yesterday but with a lack of action that really can be taken (those individuals will not be allowed back in the shop), we have to make this change.
This is a great shame for all the lovely children who cause no problems, often very polite, who will now be affected. We do hope all our customers can help us in going forward without further problems, thank you.
