It was an exciting collection day from the winery yesterday. Olwen is back and better than ever! Just in time for Welsh Wine Week which starts on Friday.
Crafted from our Solaris grapes, this elegant oak-aged Welsh white wine captures the unique character of our vineyard and climate. Carefully fermented and matured in oak barrels for 8 months, it offers a beautifully balanced structure with vibrant freshness and refined complexity.
On the nose, expect bright floral aromas and delicate white blossom, followed by layers of tropical fruit and subtle vanilla. The palate is rich yet refreshing, with a gentle oak finish that lingers gracefully.
Solaris is perfectly suited to the Welsh terroir, producing aromatic, expressive wines with natural balance and purity. At 13.5% ABV, this vintage reflects the exceptional growing conditions of 2025 in our vineyard.
Named after Olwen, the Welsh goddess of the sun, legend tells that wherever she walked, white flowers bloomed in her footsteps. Like its namesake, this wine is radiant, graceful, and full of life.
