When we launched Devenick Drinks Co in 2021, we started out purely as an online business. Soon after, we began setting up at local farmers markets and shows, and providing bar services for private events. Since opening our first Craft Bottle Shop in Chapelton (December 2022) and our Taproom (May 2023), our focus has naturally shifted to a more location-based approach.

This shift has seen all our time and energy go into growing the business to where it is today. We’ve consistently reinvested revenue back into the business to enhance the Bottle Shop and Taproom, as well as improve our service and product offerings.

Many of you know us as ‘Devenick Drinks’, while others recognise us as ‘The Gatehouse Taproom’, therefore, to streamline our brand and align it with our physical location, we’ll be updating our social media handles to ‘The Gatehouse Taproom & Craft Bottle Shop’.

The Devenick Drinks Co will remain our parent company, and its name will continue to appear on our website and online shop👌🏻

As of the 1st April 2025, we’ve made the decision to remove all of the amazing craft beer, spirits and wines from our taproom and will now only be selling Tennents Lager going forward. The suffering of the same 3 customers who refuse to try anything else ends today!
