POST OFFICE UPDATE

We are pleased to say that the post office will now be opening on Sundays 10am-3pm

To confirm our post office opening hour
Monday-Saturday 8am-8pm
Sunday 10am-3pm

Please note we have been having issues with Evri picking up parcels dropped off by customers this week.
We are hoping the backlog will be cleared over the next few days.

POST OFFICE UPDATE

Over the course of the last few years our post office sales have grown and grown as Evri, dpd and amazon have been added alongside royal mail.

Whilst this is a good thing technically for us and you, only having one till is pushing us often beyond capacity.

I ask that you please bear with us. There are plans early next year to increase the size of the post office and have a second till to allow us to cope better with things as the area was never designed to handle the volume we are dealing with.

We are also restricted by the limitations of the post office horizon system, especially with Evri as they have set that up in a very basic way that is very slow and not user friendly, but we are trying our best to serve customers as quickly as possible.

A reminder the post office is open 8am- 8pm Monday to Saturday and will soon be opening on Sundays too.

So please bear with us through the busy seasonal period and we apologise for any queues and to say we are doing the best we can.

National Lottery

We would like to apologise for not having lottery or scratch cards available at the moment.

Since lottery have installed a new machine its gone wrong within 24 hours and we are still waiting for someone to sort.

It could be later this week or next week before its fixed.

We are doing all we can to get them to hurry up but its like banging your head against a brick wall.
