Polite Notice

As I locked up the shop tonight, I noticed that someone has allowed their dog to foul on one of the signs belonging to the shop.

This is disrespectful and not acceptable. If you didn’t have a bag to pick it up, you could have come into the shop and we would have happily helped.

We will be reviewing CCTV footage to identify who is responsible. If you know who this may be, or if it was you, please message us so the matter can be resolved. Otherwise, the incident will be reported.

Customer Update

Due to the weather, we have not received our usual delivery from our wholesalers, so the shop currently has limited stock available.

Papers are slowly starting to arrive thanks to some wonderful local kids who have come in to help, which I’m extremely grateful for. We are doing our very best to get them all delivered as soon as possible, but please bear with us as conditions are dangerous outside.

I will continue to assess the situation as the day progresses. Because of staffing issues, we will not be staying open until 9pm today, but I will keep you updated as much as possible.

The shop is currently open, however please only travel if necessary. We’re hoping conditions improve soon.

Due to the weather, I’m unsure whether we will receive a paper delivery in the morning. If papers do arrive, they will be delivered only when it is safe to do so — I wouldn’t want anyone risking their life to deliver them.

Please bear with me while I try to sort things out in the morning.

The shop will hopefully open at 5:30am, weather permitting. I plan to stay open until 9:00pm, but this will be assessed tomorrow depending on conditions.

We will be closing early at 5:00pm on Sunday 4th January as I’m taking our staff out for their annual treat.

We’ll be back open as normal tomorrow.

• Sunday: 7:00am – 8:00pm
