The Popsy Doodles have had great fun exploring St Georgeโ€™s Day this week. Itโ€™s always a celebration close to my heart being my mums birthday, so I love the children being able to play and explore the Saint of England.
They loved reading Chris Wormells George and the dragon, with its beautiful illustrations and visiting Buckden Towers to explore the grounds and looked out for signs and symbols.

We had the busiest week running up to Easter, we made biscuits, mashamallow rice krispy cakes, Easter cards, played with different Easter themed sensory trays, did Easter counting, mark making,visited the church, did the Easter trail in town, had an Easter egg hunt, and more!

We loved exploring nature yesterday at Paxton Pits, the Popsy Doodles loved listening to the sounds around them, feeding ducks, watching squirrels and eating lunch in the most perfect scenic spot as we watched a mummy duck and her 13 ducklings.

The Popsy Doodles have had a great time exploring Halloween and Autumn in autumn term 1.
Exploring, pumpkins, signs of autumn, listened to so many stories, made ghosts, mummyโ€™s, worked on hand eye coordination with hammers and teas, used knives for chopping and cutting, spoons and other utensils for scooping and so much more... So busy and now weโ€™re ready for autumn term 2! So proud of my wonderful Popsy Doodles ๐ŸŒธ

Harvest festivities have been in full swing at Popsy Doodle Childminding. The Tiddlypeeps have collected food for st neots food bank, weโ€™ve been making marks in many different ways, practised cutting skills, exploring veggies, making soup and no bake flapjacks. The Popsy Doodles had a fabulous time this morning exploring the changes of autumn. We spoke about the weather getting colder, the leaves turning colours and beginning to fall from the trees and finding signs of autumn - conkers, acorns, squirrels, blackberry picking and lots of leaves. A great time in the fresh air ๐ŸŒธ
