Running a store isn't an easy task. Especially when there is only two of us to do it all. Early starts. Cooking, cleaning, ordering, cleaning, invoices, cleaning, serving customers, cleaning, preparing breakfasts and lunches... Did I mention the cleaning? 🤔 But the one thing that keeps us going each day is the people who take the time out of their day to come into the store giving us the opportunity to be a small part of their lives and hopefully make it a little better just as they do with ours.

Today we met a lovely gentleman named Daniel who came to the store to pick up a couple of snacks to keep him going as he walks the entire length of the coast of Britain. 🤯 He spoke so passionately about why he was doing this and how he wanted to not only raise some money for mental health and addiction charities but also help people he met on his way. His story, courage and positivity gave us a huge boost at the end of what was a tough day. We are now looking forward to following the rest of his journey over the next year.

You can also catch up on Daniel's journey so far and follow him on his socials or simply search "walking sober" on Instagram or Tiktok.
Thank you for popping in Daniel. You brightened our day and we hope you are enjoying a lovely peaceful night on the beautiful Fife coast this evening. Safe onward journey! 😊
