The northern boundary of Brookdale reflects the old Mason Road, used for centuries to carry messages from the deep valleys and steep kloofs of the Paarl Vineland’s to the coast. The Mason Road wines continue this legacy with a story held in every bottle. Come and grab yourself a bottle, we’re open 10am-6pm.

English Pink Pinot Noir -

Aspiring to produce the finest quality English wine, Simpsons’ have planted 30 hectares of vineyards on the iconic chalk terroir of the North Downs and built a state-of-the-art winery. The vineyard is less than 8 miles from the coast, providing crucial maritime influence. This delicate and fruity Pinot Noir rose has fresh aromas of watermelon and lychee, with peachy, stone-fruit flavours and a delightfully smooth texture. We love a local brand! Pop in and purchase a bottle, we’re open until 6pm. 🍷❤️

Paringa Estate is one of the leading small family producers in Australia. The Peninsula label expresses the unique characteristics of Mornington Pinot and the fruit comes from different sites and microclimates around the Peninsula.

2023 was a cool year. The pinots are therefore very elegant and aromatic, with red and dark cherry flavours and poured acidity.

The lifted notes of maraschino cherry, rose petals and spice, lead onto a textured palate with bright fruit, vibrant acid, and fine tannins. Stunning! Pop in from 10am-6pm, Tuesday to Friday to pick up a bottle.

In 1962, 19 vine growers in San Marzano, Italy, united to establish ‘Cantine San Marzano’, a cooperative that now encompasses over 1,200 top-quality wine makers. This collaborative effort allows them to produce ‘Primitivo di Manduria’ wines using modern winemaking techniques while honouring the traditional grape growing practices of the region. Here are just a few of the wines from the region which will make a great Father’s Day gift.🎁

A vivacious blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon from one of the most sensational locations in the wine world, a peninsula to the south of Table Mountain in South Africa. Cape Point has aromas of floral spice, cardamon, and white pepper - it’s richly textured with generous notes of citrus and ripe nectarine through to the characteristic, lengthy mineral edge on the finish. English Oak wines - here at Haywood Wines we’re highlighting delicious English wine and flying the flag for local wine to celebrate 80 years since VE Day this Thursday. 🇬🇧

English Oak Vineyard is a family-run vineyard located near Poole, just down the road from our shop. It specialises in producing award-winning English sparkling wines using traditional Champagne grape varieties like Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. The vineyard spans 23 acres and is named after a majestic 200-year-old oak tree on the property. Known for its sustainable practices and picturesque setting, it also offers tours and tastings for visitors. We highly recommend!

The sun is shining ☀️ so that’s definitely a reason to celebrate with our fizz of choice by . Available in any size for all sizes of gathering!

The Drappier Carte d’Or expresses all the aromas of the noble grape variety Pinot Noir. This in fact constitutes at least 80% of the blend. A red grape producing white juice, it is sought after not only for its structure but also for its very characteristic fine notes of red fruits.

Les Anneaux is a deep purple, ruby colour with delicious black fruit aromas with a hint of cranberry and chocolate spice. Mouth filling and juicy on the palate with blackberry and ripe strawberry notes, fresh crunchy acidity and some sweet vanilla, with silky smooth to***co leaf tannins. This organic Claret is perfect with a Sunday roast or grilled meats, especially lamb. We’re open 10am-6pm, Tuesday to Saturday so come in and pick up a bottle.
