Dear customers,
Unfortunately, we have had no newspaper deliveries yet. As soon as they arrive, we aim to get them all delivered.

We’ve had several enquiries/concerns about why we had police outside and had to close the shop for some time this afternoon. Unfortunately, due to persistent shoplifting, we had to make a citizen's arrest.
Thankfully, our CCTV footage captured everything, allowing us to handle the situation appropriately.

As a small business, we simply cannot afford to have shoplifters taking products.
We will continue to have a zero-tolerance approach to shoplifting.
Anyone caught stealing will be dealt with immediately.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to provide the usual Village Shop vibe.
